Chicago Line Cruises offers its Chicago River and Lake Michigan cruises aboard the 200-passenger Fort Dearborn, the 90-passenger Innisfree and the 50-passenger Marquette vessels, which are docked at North Pier. The architectural cruise is a 90-minute tour, narrated by a specially trained guide and placing you at the feet of over a hundred skyscrapers, each designed or inspired by the Modernists of nearly a century ago. Coffee, lemonade, muffins and cookies are provided. The historical cruise is a 90-minute tour featuring the story of Chicago and how it grew from its days as a frontier outpost to the Great Chicago Fire and the years of growth that followed. This Lake Michigan cruise will pass Buckingham Fountain and Museum Campus and give you a wonderful view of the Chicago skyline.
