Brownstone Tavern Chicago - Just a Regular Sportsbar with a Good Vibe
I stopped in the Brownstone with a friend for dinner on a Sunday night. The place was pretty empty so we grabbed a table right away. They had a pretty good selection of draft beers and they weren’t very expensive. So we got a healthy buzz and ordered an appetizer and a meal. The Quesadilla’s were alright and the Falafel burger was alright too. I had never had a Falafel burger before. Don’t know that I’d ever order one again, but it was definitely interesting to try once.
The vibe here was pretty cool. It seemed like a fun place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night. The outdoor seating looked really nice, but it was too cold to sit outside the night we were there. The service was really good too. Our waitress was very friendly and fast about everything.
The Brownstone is nothing to really write home about, but it’s definitely a great neighborhood sports bar. I’d go back if I was in the area for sure.
