Adler After DarkLocation: Adler Planetarium - 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive Kick-off your weekend early every third Thursday, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., at the Adler Planetarium's 21+ event, Adler After Dark. Tour of The Chicago TheatreTime: 12:00pm The tour encompasses historical and architectural highlights of the building, including the grand lobby areas, majestic auditorium and backstage space (when possible) where performers through the years. Saturday tours occur on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11am and 12pm. Tours will begin promptly on the hour. When possible, Saturday tours will feature a demonstration on the Mighty Wurlitzer organ. The running time for all Saturday tours is approximately 1 hour. Reservations do not need to be made in advance unless your party contains more than 10 people. Other tour dates are scheduled seasonally. See the web site. |
