Midwest Independent Film Festival
Location: Landmark Century Cinema, 2828 N. Clark, Chicago
First Tuesdays with The Midwest Independent Film Festival continue as the award-winning documentary America the Beautiful screens on Tuesday, April 1st. This enlightening and controversial film premiered at the AFI Dallas International Film Festival and earned director Darryl Roberts a Special Jury Prize for Best Direction at the 43rd Annual Chicago International Film Festival. A Q&A session with Roberts follows the screening!

The Midwest Independent Film Festival is the nation's only film festival solely dedicated to the Midwest filmmaker, presenting audiences with regionally produced independent cinema every first Tuesday of the month at Landmark Century Centre Cinema, 2828 North Clark in Chicago (6:00-9:30 pm). This year-round film festival sits proudly at the center of the independent film scene in Chicago and the Midwest and is dedicated to celebrating and strengthening that community. Tuesdays on the Terrace
Location: Museum of Contemporary Art 220 E. Chicago Ave.
Join us for Tuesdays on the Terrace, another exciting season of free evening jazz concerts on the MCA's Anne and John Kern Terrace overlooking Lake Michigan. Enjoy cocktails and a buffet dinner ($16.50) while listening to Chicago's finest jazz musicians, hosted by local radio personalities.

Tour of The Chicago Theatre
Time: 12:00pm
The tour encompasses historical and architectural highlights of the building, including the grand lobby areas, majestic auditorium and backstage space (when possible) where performers through the years.

Tours take place every Tuesday & Thursday at 12pm
Thursday tours from April to September.
The running time for all weekday tours is approximately 1 hour.
Reservations do not need to be made in advance unless your party contains more than 10 people.
$5 per person, no reservations necessary
