30th Annual Chinatown Summer Fair

NorthShore University HealthSystem Grand Prix
Location: Downtown Evanston, Davis St.
Evanston hosts Stage 10 of the U.S.'s largest multi-category cycling event, the 17-day-long Point Premium Root Beer International Cycling Classic™ bicycle race. After a full morning of serious amatuer races, the men's and women's pro cyclists come on the scene starting at 4pm. You'll be an arms-length from world-class, Olympic-level athletes competing for cash prizes and top honors. Come early and visit the local shops on the course which starts at Fountain Square. Choose from 30+ restaurants and enjoy outdoor dining along the racecourse. Enjoy a live dance concert and bring the kids for their own bicycle race on Sunday afternoon before the pro series begins.

The 51st Dearborn Garden Walk
Location: 1300 Dearborn Parkway, Chicago
The North Dearborn Association, a Chicago non-profit neighborhood organization, will sponsor its 51st Dearborn Garden Walk. The event runs from 12pm-5pm and begins at 1300 N. Dearborn Parkway.
During the walk, guests are treated to dramatic garden vignettes created by a variety of designers and businesses. Over 20 private rear gardens are featured and range from minimalistic to classic small gardens and patio/terrace designs, each showcasing the most creative use of outdoor space in an urban setting. In addition, visitors can participate in an hour-long guided architectural tour of historic Dearborn Parkway. The architectural tour includes both pre and post-Chicago fire structures, sites that have been used in movies, homes formerly occupied by famous celebrities, and even a US President!

Italian Style

41st Annual Sheffield Garden Walk
Location: Webster and Sheffield (2200 N & 1000 W)
Check out the 41st Annual Sheffield Garden Walk & Festival, sponsored by the Sheffield Neighborhood Association (SNA), a non-profit community organization. The "Summer's Best Festival" features self-guided tours of more than 100 Gardens, a Garden Center, guided Architectural Tours, live entertainment by some of Chicago's and North America's finest bands, food and drink, and activities for children at the Kids Corner.
