When possible, Saturday tours will feature a demonstration on the Mighty Wurlitzer organ. The running time for all Saturday tours is approximately 1 hour. Chicago TriathlonLocation: Start: Monroe Harbor; Finish: Balbo & Columbus The 27th Annual Chicago Triathlon, the World’s Largest Triathlon, will take place along Chicago’s Lakefront on Sunday, August 30. Triathletes will swim through the waters of Lake Michigan, bike on the lanes of scenic Lake Shore Drive and run down Chicago’s lakefront running paths, past the many wonders of Chicago’s architectural skyline. The swim start is in Monroe Harbor, south of the Chicago Yacht Club. 1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run. There is also a sprint distance approximately half the length. International Pro Athletes and Olympians come from around the world for this “can’t-miss” event. Great viewing locations all along the course.
