Spirit of Chicago Cabaret Lunch Cruise

Come aboard and enjoy the most entertaining lunchtime experience in Chicago featuring our Grande Lunch Buffet! This two-hour cruise along Chicago’s magnificent lakefront is perfect for an afternoon getaway, a birthday, church group, entertaining out-of-town guests, you name it.
Seniors will enjoy this truly interactive entertainment experience with the Spirit of Chicago Cabaret Show. The dynamic duo will delight you with a broad repertoire- everything from sing-along show tunes to jazz standards. Along the way they will incorporate fascinating facts about the famous Chicago skyline. The Chicago Theatre Marquee Tour
Location: Chicago Theatre 175 N. State St.
The tour encompasses historical and architectural highlights of the building, including the grand lobby areas, majestic auditorium and backstage space (when possible) where performers through the years, have left their autographs on the walls of dressing rooms and corridors.
Guides will share with you the stories of the visionaries who opened The Chicago Theatre, whose influence on popular entertainment in Chicago is still recognized today. Tours also include the photo exhibit in The Chicago Theatre's lower lobby, "Chicago: Three Centuries of Theatres."

Chicago Farmers Markets
Location: Downtown Chicago & Other Locations
Chicago's Farmers Markets bring more than 70 vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers to over 20 neighborhoods throughout the City of Chicago. Markets are held Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday around the city.

The Midwest Independent Film Festival is the nation's only film festival solely dedicated to the Midwest filmmaker, presenting audiences with regionally produced independent cinema every first Tuesday of the month at Landmark Century Centre Cinema, 2828 North Clark in Chicago. This year-round film festival sits proudly at the center of the independent film scene in Chicago and the Midwest and is dedicated to celebrating and strengthening that community. Tuesdays on the Terrace at MCA
Location: Museum of Contemporary Art 220 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago,
Attend free live jazz concerts every Tuesday during the summer, at Tuesdays on the Terrace, presented by Macy's. A different, internationally-themed dinner buffet prepared by Wolfgang Puck Catering is served each week, with dishes created using fresh locally-grown produce from the MCA Farmer's Market, for $22 per person. Tables are limited - call 312.397.4034 to reserve your spot.
For a more casual evening, bring your own blanket or rent an MCA lawn chair ($5 each) for a relaxing evening on the garden lawn. Summer favorite such as hamburgers, hotdogs, and lighter fare may be purchased from our outdoor grill along with cold beverages, wine, and seasonal cocktails from the cash bar on the lower terrace. Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the sculpture garden.
