Blue After-Dark Moonlight Cruise

Mystic Blue Cruises presents a Halloween-themed, high-energy, Blue After-Dark Moonlight Cruise on Saturday, October 31. Come in your best Halloween attire and start the night off right with a complimentary house drink ticket and the Navy Pier Fireworks display during boarding. When the boat leaves the dock, dare to stay onboard where you’ll delight in tasty treats and a costume contest with great prizes! Then dance the night away to hot club and house mixes, spun by some of Chicago’s premier DJs, with daunting views of the Chicago skyline as the backdrop.

Chicago's Scariest Haunted House Opens October 9

Chronicles of the Cursed: Hades Emerges, Chicago's premier haunted house experience opens Friday, October 9 at 560 W. Grand Avenue. The haunted house is the largest in Chicago with more than 20,000 square feet of bone-chilling monsters, ghouls, zombies, hellions, and other frightening beings. Victims will experience the rage of Hades, a killing factory, the dead coming alive, toys turning into demons, parking meters demanding blood, and other truly disturbing experiences.

Chicago's largest haunted house was designed by the renowned Joe Jensen, creator of the Hades Haunted Houses. Chronicles of the Cursed: Hades Emerges is conveniently located downtown Chicago and is easily accessed by the Blue Line (Milwaukee & Grand stop) or the Grand Avenue bus. Parking is available.

Spooky Pooch Parade
Location: Chicago Botanic Garden 1000 Lake Cook Rd. Glencoe, IL
The Spooky Pooch Parade is from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. For two very special hours only, dogs are allowed in the Garden. Cleverly costumed canines march the parade route to celebrate the season. Spectators are invited to line the parade route for a barking good time.

In addition to the parade, activities include the costume contest, judging, and an awards ceremony. Nonprofits and vendors from a variety of local pet supply shops will share information and sell dog-related products. The parade steps off from the Esplanade, where the activities and costume contest take place. Dogs must be on leash at all times and must leave the Garden by 3 p.m.
