Adrenaline Sports Management and Whole Foods Market proudly presents the Second Annual Bunny Dash 5K in Palatine, IL at the Deer Grove East Forest Preserve at 9:00 am. The second year race will be “Going Green” in support of Earth Month.

Whether runners are striving to beat a personal goal or just running while enjoying the “Easter Egg Hunt” along the course, participants are free to gauge their pace and are guaranteed to enjoy this fun Spring-themed race. People of all ages are encouraged to participate in the 5K Run, 1-Mile Youth Run, or 100-Yard Kid’s Dash. Afterwards, a kid-friendly egg hunt will be held, and a visit from the Easter Bunny is expected!

BACKBONES provides one-on-one support and resources for people with spinal cord injury and their families. We strive to build a peer network through telephone, in-person or web-based connections and encourage growth by the sharing of experiences and ideas.
Join us for the 2nd Annual BACKBONES 5K RUN, WALK n ROLL. This is a family affair where runners and walkers and rollers of all ages are welcome to participate for a very worthy cause. Bring your friends! Bring your grandma! Bring your kids! (Strollers are welcome.)

Course is wheelchair accessible.

The Lemont Quarryman Challenge 10 Mile and 5K road race offers elite athletes, age group competitors and fitness runners a different, challenging course in Lemont’s unique, scenic and small town setting. The 10 mile and 5K race start and finish in historic downtown Lemont. Each race course winds through the unique, scenic and hilly historic neighborhoods of Lemont.

The Quarryman Challenge 10 Mile & 5K will be electronically timed and offers our unique hand made “piece of the rock” awards made from local quarry stone, offers prize money to 1st - 3rd overall and a “King of the Hill" competition, tech t-shirts and post race party.

The race course is a scenic route through neighborhood streets, mostly flat & all paved. Split times will be available at mile 1, 2, 4 & 5. Race results posted on chicagoaa.com & racetime.info. Awards will be given to the top 3 male & female winners, plus the top male & female finisher in age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. A fun family event will follow the race!

Join Cycle for Survival, the indoor team cycling fundraiser that benefits lifesaving cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the nation’s preeminent center for research and treatment devoted exclusively to cancer. Join the ride on Saturday, February 6, at Equinox The Loop, located at 200 West Monroe Street. A total of 100 teams of up to eight members each will cycle from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. In addition to the ride, the event features yoga classes, massage therapy, children’s activities, and refreshments.
