Location. Central to the Gold Coast Neighborhood in Chicago, Ill., The Whitehall Hotel radiates European style. Hotel Features. Originally built in 1927 as an apartment building, this hotel maintains its Victorian ambience with intimate quarters showcasing antique mahogany furnishings, oil paintings and wood paneling with glass enclosed memorabilia.
