Location. The Peninsula Chicago is located on the Magnificent Mile, the Michigan Avenue shopping district, in Chicago, Ill. The hotel is one quarter mile from the Museum of Contemporary Art and the John Hancock Observatory. One half mile away is Lake Michigan. Millennium Park and Navy Pier are a three quarter mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Avenues, serving four , eight or 15 course dinner menus Tuesday through Saturday evenings, is now home to new chef de cuisine Curtis Duffy. The Shanghai Terrace features Cantonese and Shanghainese dishes in a 1930's supper club atmosphere. The Lobby, located on the fifth floor, offers breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and dinners.
