Hyatt Regency McCormick Place - Nice Hotel, Not the Best Location
Coming to Chicago for a convention? This place is perfect as it is literally attached to the McCormick Place Convention Center by a sky bridge. But as far as getting around the rest of Chicago, it’s not a good location. You would need to take cabs to any of the tourist attractions, which will be about $10 - $15 each time at least.
The building is really cool looking from the outside though. It’s modern and elegant and the room designs are nice. They seem to charge extra for everything here though, including Internet, which I always think is ridiculous. Every hotel should come with free Internet these days!
All in all, it’s a beautiful hotel. The decor inside is really nice. But I’d really only recommend it if you’re in town for a convention. If you’re in town to see the city sights, there are better hotels in nicer locations.
