Snow Days Chicago

Event Overview: Ever wanted the ability to stroll through a "winter wonderland" ? Guess what? Now is your very opportunity. Each year at the end of January, there is an event called the Winter Festival in Chicago or Snow Days Chicago during which teams compete in a snow sculpture competition. Watch national and international teams fight for the top spot by recreating Medusa, sea life, and Duchamp works, just to name a few, out of nothing else but pure snow. Pretty incredible right? Come out to the Chicago Snow Festival in Gateway Park at Navy Pier. 

What to Expect: Enjoy 3 days of competition and incredible sculptures from multiple teams, some of which are professional others of which are just in high school. Either way, you are certainly in for an amazing show at the Chicago Snow Festival.

Inside Knowledge: Roughly 15 different professional teams and a variety of high school teams compete in the Chicago Snow Days Festival and carve incredible sculptures out of ice and snow.
