Trump Tower - Can't Get a Better Hotel
This is obviously one of the nicest hotels in the city. The entire place is first class all the way. It’s the second tallest building in Chicago, right behind the Sears Tower, and the views in the rooms are absolutely breathtaking! The building itself is incredibly gorgeous and you notice it from every part of the city.
First, you should know this is a very expensive hotel. It’s just meant for the extremely rich or a special occasion. But you really do get your money’s worth here. The staff is extremely accommodating. They’re all surprisingly down to Earth and friendly. The suites are really big, and it would be perfect for a group to all stay there and split the cost.
When at the Trump Tower, you must go to Trump Terrace bar on the 16th floor! They have great drinks! Although they’re quite expensive, $17 and up. But it’s all about the view. You sit outside overlooking the beauty of Chicago architecture. It’s really just an experience that you have to have while visiting Chicago, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. My cocktail was called a huahine basil. It was a ginger beer drink and it was phenomenal! It was expensive, but it’s pretty big. And just sitting outside on that terrace totally made it worth the cost.
If you can afford it, Trump is probably the best hotel in the city.
