This cubic panorama was shot on July 23rd, 2004 around 3.30pm at the beginning of the Shoreline Chicago River Architecture Cruise. This popular cruise starts near Navy Pier and is an excellent way to discover how Chicago became the home of the skyscraper and cradle of modern American Architecture. Visible in this panorama is the distinctive Lake Point Tower and it’s bronze curtain walls. The tower was completed in 1968 and reaches a height of 645 feet. At the time, it was the highest apartment building in the world.
