The Whistler Chicago - Fantastic Cocktails!

Great cocktails! This place really surprised me. It’s a quite the gem. Kind of an underground locals secret. If you didn’t know it was there, you would walk right past it.

You can tell The Whistler really prides themselves in their specialty cocktails. Their menu constantly changes to keep everything fresh. I tried the Blue Collar Cocktail. Not usually a big fan of whiskey, but this was great and it gave me quite the healthy buzz. The cocktails are very strong. They give you a water with each cocktail, if that tells you anything. These aren’t just simple drinks either. They’re intricate and they take time to make, but they’re very good!

The staff is extremely nice and friendly! It’s a very unpretentious place. There’s live music nightly on their stage, which is kind of an intimate setting. It’s always different kinds of music too, so there’s something for everyone. And no cover, which is great for a place that offers live music! I highly recommend this place for anyone that likes live music. And after the show is over, it’s the perfect place to sip on a cocktail and socialize.
