Venetian Night Chicago - Cancelled Summary

Event Overview: Venetian Night Chicago was an annual Summer tradition at Monroe Harbor that combined a parade of colorful boats with a beautiful fireworks display over the shores of Lake Michigan. What to Expect: Attracting hundreds of thousands of spectators each year, Chicago Venetian Night crowds could expect an amazing fireworks show, creatively-decorated boats and a festive atmosphere perfect for families.

  • Chicago Fireworks: While Chicago Venetian Night may be no more, there are a number of Chicago fireworks shows to enjoy throughout the Summer, including every Wednesday and Saturday Night at the Navy Pier in Chicago
  • Festive Boats: Chicago locals dressed up their yachts for Venetian Night in Chicago each year based on the theme, and the parade of boats lining the Monroe Harbor made this annual Chicago event one of the most popular every year.
  • Family Fun: Between the colorful boats, festive fireworks and dozens of vendors with food, face painting and other kid friendly Chicago activities, Venetian Night Chicago was one of the best family events in Chicago
