Formerly known as the John Hancock Observatory, 360 Chicago’s elevators are some of the fastest in North America, taking you up to the 94th floor view. Interactive activities at the top allow visitors to explore Chicago virtually, viewing landmarks while zooming in and out. Getting to 360 Chicago

Located right on Michigan Avenue, the John Hancock Building is 100 stories high and easy to pick out of a crowd! It’s just a three-minute walk from Oak Street Beach.

Driving

If you decide to drive to the John Hancock Center, several parking garages are available nearby, and one is even located in the building. Booking your parking spot in advance with Spot Hero is a very good idea as you’ll get discounted rates and also avoid driving around looking for a space!

Public Transportation

For less-convenient weather or if you just don’t feel like walking, you can hop on a CTA bus to John Hancock Center. #146, #147 and #148 should all get you there. Check the CTA website for schedules.

Biking

If the weather is nice enough for biking, you can easily jump on a Divvy bike share bicycle! The closest Divvy stations to 360 Chicago are at Michigan Ave & Pearson St or Mies van der Rohe Way & Chestnut St.

When to go to 360 Chicago

Open daily from 9am-11pm year-round, with some seasonal hours and special event closures. The last permitted entry is 30 minutes prior to closing time. It’s suggested to arrive before 11am to avoid the crowds.
