Kimpton Hotel Monaco –Best for…
Foodies

Modern American meets Belgian bistro at the newly renovated Fisk & Co. The fine dining restaurant in the Kimpton combines a mussel and beer bar serving up seafood and comfort eats in a clean tavern design. Of course, mussels are the leading role in the menu, but there are also savory bites and a showcase raw bar. An expansive tap selection is navigated by certified Beer Servers, who boast a deep knowledge of the best brew for your meal. Of course, there is a curated wine and cocktail menu as well. All of this is the brainchild of Ashlee Aubin, the head chef who brings his 21 years of experience to Fisk & Co. To really take advantage of the on-site restaurant, book the Breakfast Package which boasts a credit for a daily breakfast for two at Fisk & Co.

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Amenities

Newly renovated, rooms are airy and inviting. The large bay windows and high ceilings let in the view of the city or river beyond. Even if you don’t have a view, the interiors pay homage to the waterfront location with a soothing blue palette with pops of yellow. Plus, there’s a vintage hatbox honor bar for treats and sips. Rooms also include a luxe walk-in shower, Frette linens, and Atelier Bloem Bath Amenities. A variety of layouts include the king deluxe and queen queen rooms with river views available. Speciality suites are also available, boasting a separate sitting area and the hotel’s signature window seats.

The hotel has much more to offer, including daily newspapers and coffee and tea service, plus the unique wine hour in the “living room lobby.” Take a custom-designed PUBLIC bike for a spin around the city, or do some sun salutations on your in-room yoga mat. For more of a workout, the on-site fitness center features some pretty high-end equipment, including several Precor cardio machines as well as yoga mats, balance balls and free weights.

Although there is no on-site spa, the hotel offers treatments right in your room, including vitamin C facials, massages, or a chamomile foot soak. All of the products used are natural and organic by Kerstin Florian.

Plus, if you’re traveling with a pooch, you can bring your best friend free of charge. Kimpton hotels are always pet-friendly, and they offer an array of amenities including courtesy bags, plush pet beds, food and water bowls and mats. Fidos of all size are welcome, and they can even join in on the nightly social hour.
