The Langham also has a large health club with an adjoining group class studio. The 2,2,60-square-foot gym is outfitted with strength and cardio equipment from Life Fitness and Elevation Series. The crown jewel of the wellness oasis, however, is the 67-foot indoor swimming pool. There’s also a heated hydrotherapy jacuzzi and four heated relaxation recliners.

The Langham Chicago Neighborhood

Situated along the Chicago River in the River North neighborhood, the Langham isn’t just great for views. It’s an ideal starting point to enjoy the city’s business district, Magnificent Mile and major Chicago attractions within walking distance. Enjoy Navy Pier, Oak Street Beach, and the Chicago Children’s Museum within reach. Or walk just south across the Irv Kupcinet Bridge to enjoy all of the entertainment, dining and public artwork on the Chicago Riverwalk. You can also catch a river taxi or architectural boat tour from here, as well.

Nearby hotels include Hotel Chicago Autograph, and Kinzie Hotel. Anything in this coveted waterfront location is going to cost a pretty penny, but the Langham is arguably the priciest.

Langham Chicago: The Verdict

There is virtually nothing the Langham lacks. There’s a kids’ playroom, on-site movie theater, high-class dining, a spa, and a luxurious indoor pool. Rooms are chic and spacious with luxurious amenities like a bar and marble bathroom. On-site restaurants serve up highly rated dining and a classic English tea. But all of that, along with the five-star rating, makes The Langham one of the priciest sleeps in Chicago. If you can afford it, it’s worth the splurge. If it’s out of your budget, consider a hotel a few blocks north for comparable access to the city without direct water frontage.
